Midwife and Owner

Briana Fischer, LM, CPM

With nearly a decade as a midwife and a total of 17 years hands-on experience in the birth community,  Briana is a Licensed Midwife and the heart behind Red Poppy Birth Care. Her journey began as a doula, where she supported countless families through the sacred process of birth. She went on to complete a rigorous apprenticeship under a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), and has since practiced in both high-volume birth centers and intimate home birth settings across Texas.

Grounded in deep clinical knowledge and a passion for personalized care, Briana brings the wisdom of her mentors—seasoned CNMs and LMs with decades of combined experience—into every birth she attends. Her solo practice is built on trust, education, and empowerment, offering clients a safe and supportive environment to welcome their babies.

In addition to midwifery, Briana has taught childbirth education classes and continues to deepen her knowledge as she pursues her BSN. She believes birth is not just a medical event, but a transformative experience—and she’s honored to walk alongside families through it.
